Echo Bay Lodge Policies


Guaranteed Reservations

Reservations are guaranteed upon receipt of a two-night deposit, charged to your preferred payment method. The remaining balance must be settled according to our payment terms.  This does not apply to Air BnB reservations, which adhere to the Air BnB payment policies.


Check-in/Check-out

**Check-in:** 4:00 pm – 11:00 pm. If arriving after 11:00 pm, please contact us in advance to make arrangements. Early check-in may be available upon request, subject to availability.
**Check-out:** 11:00 am. Late check-out requests may be accommodated upon availability and may be subject to additional fees.


Payment Options

We accept Visa, Mastercard, cash, e-Transfers, and direct deposits. For e-Transfers, please send payments to cheriegoetzinger@hotmail.com  Full payment is required 7 days before arrival.


Taxes

A Goods & Services Tax (GST) of 5% and an 8% Provincial Hotel Tax apply to all accommodations in British Columbia. Taxes are added to the final invoice.


Pet Policy

We do not allow pets. However, certified service animals are permitted with prior notification.


Damages

Guests are responsible for any damages or loss of property in their suite or public areas. Charges will be assessed based on repair or replacement costs. We strive to be fair in all assessments.


Non-Smoking Policy

Echo Bay Lodge is a smoke-free property indoors. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and marijuana use is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Please use the provided ashtrays and avoid smoking near doorways or windows.

 **A note on marijuana use: Please keep marijuana buds, cigarettes and paraphernalia in-air tight containers when inside the suites.  This includes any rolling and preparation as the odor tends to consume the entire building, including other guest rooms and living areas.


Lost & Found

Items left behind will be held for up to 30 days. Guests are responsible for any shipping costs if they wish to have items returned. Items left in or near trash bins will be considered discarded, and Echo Bay Lodge is not responsible for lost items.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before arrival to receive a full refund. Full payment is required 7 days before arrival. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable. A $50 administrative fee applies to all cancellations. Guests wishing to modify their booking dates may do so based on availability.  Air BnB reservations may adhere to a different cancellation policy.


Cleaning Policy

Housekeeping services are provided upon request. If you require fresh linens, towels, or additional cleaning services during your stay, please contact us.


Noise Policy

We ask guests to respect quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am to ensure a peaceful environment for all.


Privacy Policy

Echo Bay Lodge is committed to protecting your personal information. We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and do not sell or share personal data. Our policies may be updated to reflect changes in law or business operations.

**Information Collection**
Our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience in making reservations at Echo Bay Lodge. Personally identifiable information is only obtained when making a reservation. All identifiable information provided will not be disclosed to anyone unless we are specifically requested to do so. Echo Bay Lodge does not give or sell to anyone any information we collect on our site.

**Security**
At Echo Bay Lodge, we take security seriously. When users make a reservation, we use every precaution to safeguard it online and offline.

**Policy Modifications**
Echo Bay Lodge may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners, and service providers.
